About Brian
A locksmith who picks up.
Lock Doctor Smith is Brian Smith: a Monaghan man with a van full of locks, a phone he actually answers, and a simple idea of good service.
The story
Why "Lock Doctor"?
Because a good locksmith works like a good GP: listen first, diagnose properly, fix what's actually wrong, and never sell you something you don't need.
Brian started Lock Doctor Smith in 2025 from his base at Tullygrimes, just outside Monaghan Town. Being local means he knows the roads, the estates and the farms — and it means you're not waiting hours for someone driving up from the city.
Every job starts with a phone call and an honest, upfront quote. No call centre, no hidden call-out surprises. Just Brian.
How Brian works
Straight talking. Tidy work.
Three promises on every job, whether it's a spare key or a full re-key of a business.
Least damage
Non-destructive methods first. Drilling and replacing is the last resort, not the first.
Local & reliable
Based in Monaghan, so when Brian says he's on the way, he's genuinely not far.
